Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) is being included in the MDAX with
effect from 25 March 2008. The share indices committee at Frankfurt Stock
Exchange decided this at its meeting yesterday.
According to Deutsche Börse share indices ranking list, HHLA holds the 29th
place on the basis of the market capitalisation of its free float of 1.13
billion euros and is in 44th position with respect to its stock market
turnover.
'We are delighted about our inclusion in the MDAX. We are expecting that
HHLA will become more attractive and well-known on the capital market and
that further private investors will discover HHLA as an investment
opportunity. Moreover, we hope that analysts and fund managers will take
HHLA into consideration even more', says Klaus-Dieter Peters, Chairman of
the HHLA Executive Board.
HHLA shares have been listed in the Prime Standard at Frankfurt Stock
Exchange and at Hamburg Stock Exchange since the IPO on 2 November 2007.
