Appointment of Senior Independent Director in FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc

Following its announcement of 4 July 2024, FBD Holdings plc ("FBD" or the "Group") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John O'Dwyer as Senior Independent Director of FBD Holdings plc and FBD Insurance plc with immediate effect. 

Mr. O'Dwyer joined the Board of FBD Holdings plc and the Board of FBD Insurance plc in August 2021. He has a strong background in financial services, having spent all of his career working in the insurance industry, particularly in the Heath Insurance sector. Prior to his appointment in FBD, John was the Chief Executive Officer of VHI.  

Group Chair, Mr. Liam Herlihy, said:

This announcement is made in accordance with Rule 6.1.64 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules. The Group confirms that there are no other matters requiring disclosure under Rule 6.1.66 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules.
