Am Rande der Messe gab Dr. Klaus Harisch, Vorstand der telegate AG, bekannt, dass er damit rechnet, dass sich der Gewinn parallel zum erwarteten Umsatz von rund 300 Millionen Mark im laufenden Geschäftsjahr entwickeln und damit ebenfalls verdoppeln wird. Die Münchener telegate wurde 1996 gegründet und ist seit April 1999 am Neuen Markt der Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse notiert. Das Unternehmen konnte 1999 einen Umsatz von 173,3 Millionen Mark verzeichnen. Zum Angebotsportfolio gehört eine Vielzahl von Leistungen wie Telefonnummern-Auskunft für das Festnetz und alle deutschen Mobilfunknetze, Weitervermittlung an rund 4.500 Service- Hotlines, Telefon- und Adress-Auskünfte per Post und Fax. Das im Januar 2000 gegründete Tochterunternehmen 11880.com bietet ein Online-Branchenverzeichnis. Weitere Internet-Serviceleistungen sind in Planung. Die telegate AG beschäftigt rund 2.500 Mitarbeiter. During the fair, Dr. Klaus Harisch, CEO of telegate AG, said he expects the company’s profit to develop in line with expected revenues of around DM 300 million in the current business year and, therefore, to double. The Munich-based telegate company was founded in 1996 and has been listed on the New Market of Frankfurt Stock Exchange since April, 1999. Last year. the company recorded total revenues in excess of DM 173.3 million. The range of services offered includes numerous facilities, such as directory inquiries for the fixed-line network and all German mobile-telephone networks, call forwarding to around 4,500 service hotlines and telephone and address inquiries by post and fax. 11880.com, the telegate subsidiary founded in January, 2000, provides an online directory service. Additional Internet services are being planned, telegate AG employs approximately 2,500 people.
