März 2001 – Die telegate Italia, das Tochterunternehmen der Münchener telegate AG, hat heute mit SEAT Pagine Gialle einen Vertrag geschlossen: Sie übernimmt einen Teil des Auskunftsservices für die “Sprechenden Gelben Seiten” (Pronto Pagine Gialle) von SEAT. Allein in diesem Jahr wird mit rund drei Millionen eingehenden Anrufen gerechnet. Damit ist telegate nach dem Vertragsabschluss mit TIM, der Mobilfunktochter der Telecom Italia, ein weiterer entscheidender Schritt beim Ausbau ihrer Marktposition jenseits der Alpen gelungen. Die Kooperation ist zudem ein wichtiger strategischer Meilenstein in der Partnerschaft zwischen der telegate AG und ihrem im Mai 2000 eingestiegenen Großaktionär SEAT Pagine Gialle. Der Gelbe Seiten-Service von SEAT umfasst mehr als drei Millionen Unternehmenseinträge und knapp zweitausend Branchenkategorien. Die telegate-Mitarbeiter werden alle Anrufe persönlich bearbeiten, die unter der in Italien sehr populären Service-Nummer 89.24.24 aus dem Festnetz und Mobilfunknetz eingehen. Around three million incoming calls are expected this year alone. Thus, following the agreement reached with TIM, the mobile-telephone subsidiary of Telecom Italia, telegate has taken another decisive step forward in the expansion of its market position to the south of the Alps.
