Munich / Planegg, 6 August 2014 - telegate AG today announced that with its
half-year EBITDA before non-recurring items of EUR 2.8 million (H1 2014:
EUR 4.5 million) it has already almost achieved its forecast for the full
year of EBITDA before non-recurring items of EUR 2 to EUR 3 million issued
at the start of the year. In the first six months of 2015, the company
generated revenues of EUR 27.4 million (H1 2014: EUR 32.1 million).
Revenues generated by the 11 88 0* directory assistance service and the
klicktel digital business amounted to EUR 11 million (H1 2014: EUR 14.5
million) and EUR 16.4 million (H1 2014: EUR 17.6 million), respectively.
In the first six months of 2015, telegate AG significantly expanded its
product portfolio for businesses and further deepened its partnership with
Google. telegate CEO Christian Maar commented: "Much has been achieved in
the area of digital marketing, but there is still a lot of work ahead of us
in the next six months. We will further optimise the cost-effectiveness and
efficiency of our operating business. In addition, we will add even more
value from synergies between our divisions and focus more strongly on
consumers. For this purpose, the existing product portfolio will be revised
shortly, and we will work hard on developing new innovative services."
