Pursuant to Sections 21 (1) and 24 of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG), CREDIT SUISSE GROUP, Paradeplatz 8, 8070 Zürich, Switzerland, in
its own name and in the name and by order of the companies named below,
informed us of the following on July 5, 2007:
1. The share of voting rights of Credit Suisse, Paradeplatz 8, 8001 Zürich,
Switzerland, and of Credit Suisse Group, Paradeplatz 8, 8001 Zürich,
Switzerland, in HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft fell short of the 3 % reporting
threshold on June 29, 2007 and amounted to 0.87 % on that day (610,005
voting rights). This share of voting rights is fully attributable to Credit
Suisse and to Credit Suisse Group pursuant to Section 22 (1) Sentence 1 No.
1 WpHG.
2. The chain of controlling companies is as follows (starting with the
company at the lowest level): Credit Suisse und Credit Suisse Group.
