Announcement of the decision concerning AS “Amber Latvijas balzams”

The State Revenue Service, on 6^th November 2025, adopted a decision on the recovery of overdue tax payments from JSC “Amber Latvijas balzams”, which as of 6^th November 2025 amount to EUR 17,710,467.16.

This does not materially restrict JSC “Amber Latvijas balzams” business operations.

JSC “Amber Latvijas balzams” informs that it had previously applied for a tax deferral (extension of payment terms had been received), however, the company’s management decided to cancel these extensions in order to repay the excise duty debt as quickly as possible. On 6^th November 2025, JSC “Amber Latvijas balzams” received a notification from the State Revenue Service regarding the recovery of tax payments.

JSC “Amber Latvijas balzams” wishes to emphasize that it is actively cooperating with the State Revenue Service to resolve this situation.

JSC “Amber Latvijas balzams” will provide further updates on the development of the situation when any material new information becomes available.
