In August Latvijas Gaze have started to disconnect from a gas supply these debtors that have arrears built up and have not used opportunity to agree on repayment of the debt. The total debt of the households has reached 4.6 million Lats, total number of debtors exceeds 113 thousand.

Latvijas Gaze is forced to disconnect debtors because of thread of even faster building up of debts during heating season creating problems in settlement of payments to the gas suppliers, which will cause adverse effects on the other gas users.
