- Longtime customer continues to expand with Intershop’s latest
e-commerce software release
San Francisco, CA – June 4, 2008 – Intershop Communications, a leading

today announced that Linde Material Handling North America, a leading
manufacturer of forklifts and warehouse equipment, is now live on Enfinity
Suite 6 at lindelink.com.
Linde is a longtime Intershop customer and chose to leverage Enfinity Suite
6 to expand its online presence and enhance the management of business
processes. Linde’s upgrade to Enfinity Suite 6 allows for exceptionally
high return on investment (ROI) and many benefits including:
- Extensive back-office functionality and a rich native feature set
- Out-of-the-box multi-channel capability with centralized management of
all channels
- High-performance and scalability with a sophisticated 3-tier
architecture
- Highly extendible backend integration capability via XML and Web
Services
Intershop provided Linde with a number of out-of-the-box features integral
to improving efficiency and reducing costs. Key benefits of the latest
upgrade are:
- Fast implementation of Intershop’s Enterprise Application Integration
(EAI) Solution Kit enhancing the middleware component and allowing for
a highly-stable integration layer with SAP
- Document Management functionality simplifying product documentation
management
- Permissions Framework allowing for easier backend administration and
improved access control.
