The group’s business figures developed as follows: 2000 1999 DM m Euro m DM m Euro m Change Gross annual receipts 171.7 87.8 56.1 28.7 +206% EBIT 31.6 16.2 25.6 13.1 +23% Results of ordinary activities 20.9 10.7 27.4 14.0 -24% Profit for the year 10.9 5.6 13.1 6.7 -17% In 2000 gross annual receipts rose from DM 56.1 m/28.7 Euro m to DM 171.7 m/87.8 Euro m. Also in 2000 the EBIT grew from DM 25.6 m/13.1 Euro m to DM 31.6 m/16.2 Euro m. The results of ordinary activities fell to DM 20.9 m/10.7 Euro m. In the previous year this result had been DM 27.4 m/14 Euro m. The profit for the year fell from DM 13.1 m/6.7 Euro m to DM 10.9 m/5.6 Euro m. The clearly disproportionate development of the EBIT in relation to turnover and the development of the results of ordinary activities as well as the profit for the year, to the sum of DM 20.8 m/10.6 Euro m, are due to provisions for risk in connection with the litigation against Franchise Pictures and Imperial Bank. The result per share for the group was DM 1.02/0.52 Euro (DM 1.38/0.71 Euro in the previous year).
