Passau, June 3, 2008 – InTiCom Systems AG (ISIN DE0005874846, Prime
Standard) has received an order for the development and production of
keyless entry antennas from a system supplier to the automobile industry.
In receiving this order, InTiCom Systems has managed to cover the entire
model range of a major German car manufacturing group. The demands on these
sensors require an extremely sophisticated technological concept to make
sure that the components meet the customer’s high environmental and testing
requirements. Products already in supply made it possible for InTiCom
Systems to win this order, as considerable synergy effects could thus be
achieved and realized. Because of this synergy potential, the design was
finalized in a very short time period.
The order volume includes the production of several millions of antennas,
at a product life of five years plus. Start of production of the first
platforms is scheduled for 2009, covering all of this car manufacturer’s
model ranges by early 2011. The designated location of production in
Prachatice was expanded in the summer of 2007 already due to its constantly
increasing utilization and has been available with doubled production space
since September last year.
