Jenoptik boards to propose a dividend of 0.70 euros per share at annual general
shareholders’ meeting.
Increase of 10 percent over the previous year’s shareholder dividend
The supervisory board and executive board of JENOPTIK AG of Jena, Germany will
propose a dividend of 0.70 euros per share at the annual general shareholders’
meeting on June 11, 2002. The Jenoptik Group is thus adhering to its strategy of
providing its shareholders with a substantial share in the company’s success.
The Jenoptik supervisory board approved the dividend proposal at its meeting
today, Monday, April 15.
The dividend of 0.70 euros per share is an increase of 10 percent over the
previous year’s shareholder dividend. With a 11-for-10 split, the number of
total shares rose 10 percent in 2001.
