On September 27, 2013, BlackRock Group Limited, London, U.K. has informed
us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its
Voting Rights on K+S Aktiengesellschaft, Kassel, Deutschland, have exceeded
the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on September 24, 2013 and on that day
amounted to 3.14% (this corresponds to 6000673 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.14% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
6000673 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to the company.
