New Chairman of Supervisory Board

Cologne, June 01, 2012 – Within the context of the proposed reduction of the number of Supervisory Board members and as already published per ad hoc on
May 31, 2012, the Chairman and the Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG have resigned from their offices effective as of May 31, 2012. Today the Supervisory Board elected Heinz Otto Geidt as the new Chairman and Eliza Suk Ching Yuen as Deputy Chairperson.
