Following tough negotiations KBA has landed a contract to supply newspaper press lines to Tamedia in Zurich and Espace Media Groupe in Bern. It is the biggest single order for newspaper presses in KBA’s history. The contract is part of a move to promote KBA’s new 6/2 configuration which, it claims, offers substantial technological and economic benefits. The press line for Zurich will ship at the end of 2003, the first press for a new printing plant in Bern in late 2004.
