Bauer + Kunzis 45-strong workforce generates annual sales of around Euro 20m manufacturing high-quality metal-decorating presses, primarily for the technical and food industries. The purchase price was not revealed. Pending official approval the acquisition will add a niche capability to KBAs strong position in the medium- and large-format packaging press market.
