Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— HAITEC-Group finishes second quarter 2000 with record turnover and profit Operating quarterly profit of almost 0.5 million Euro / quarterly turnover of more than 21 million Euro / half-yearly turnover increases more than 65 % / dynamic development of High-Value-Services / operating loss reduced to 1.49 million Euro / incoming orders at record level HAITEC, IT-service provider quoted on the New Market (WKN 600 520), has reached a new peak with a turnover of 21.3 million Euro (approx. 42 million DM) in the second quarter (April to June) of the current business year. For the first six months of this year this amounts to a turnover of 41.20 million Euro (80.54 million DM) – an increase of more than 65 percent compared to the first half of 1999. The development of High-Value-Services (Planning, Consulting, Training) of HAITEC-Group is to be stressed: within the first six months of this year these services with an amount of 11 million Euro (21.5 million DM) have reached almost the annual level of 1999. As customary in this industry almost 2/5 of the turnover of the overall year is reached within the first six months of a year, HAITEC Group plans on an increase on the annual turnover of approx. 61% to 100 million Euro (approx. 200 million DM). As expected the operating result (EBIT) and net result show a deficit after the first six months. After an EBIT in the first quarter of -1.98 million Euro (- 3.87 million DM) HAITEC has already attained an operating profit of 0.48 million Euro (0.94 million DM) in the second quarter. After the first six months a cumulative operating result of -1.49 million Euro (- 2.92 million DM) was achieved. The net result developed positively, and improved by more than 3% to -0.92 million Euro (- 1.79 million DM). By this, the DVFA-result per share could be reduced by 9.6% to -0.24 Euro (-0.47 DM). The incoming orders reached 43 million Euro (approx. 84 million DM) and are 70% higher than last year – this is also a record in the over ten-year history of HAITEC.
