HAITEC shows an increase of more than 65% within the first nine months
Turnover increased by 65.9 % / Highest dynamic in High-Value-Services /
Forcing alignment to High-Value-Service Provider / Record of Incoming Orders
HAITEC, IT-service provider quoted on the New Market (WKN 600 520) continued
its course of expansion in the third quarter 2000. For the first nine months
of the business year this amounts to a turnover of 63.1 million Euro
(123.4 million DM) – this shows an increase of 65.9% vis-a-vis a comparative
period of time of last year. HAITEC achieved highest increase rates in the
service sector. High-Value-Services of the concern increased by more
than 110 % to 15.7 million Euro (30.8 million DM) and with 25% of the total
turnover this sector is currently six percent higher than at the end of
September 1999. Also with regard to recruiting of personnel the concern shows
additional success. Within twelve months the number of HAITEC’s employees
doubled from 244 to 495.
The operative result (EBIT) amounts to -3.54 million Euro (-6.92 million DM)
after nine months. The result was strained for a short period of time by
the latest investments in Competence Center, qualification of employees and
a series of exceptional structural expenditure, so that the planned annual
result cannot be reached. The target of the measures of the new board is to
accelerate the continual development of the HAITEC-concern to the
High-Value-Service-Provider of the IT-business.
Incoming orders in the amount of 67.5 million Euro (132 million DM) was
approx. 67% over the comparative value of the last year. In the third
quarter 2000 the incoming orders were increased by almost 25 million Euro
(48 million DM) and marked a new peak in the history of the company.
For the fourth quarter 2000 the board expects a continuation of the high
turnover increase and a positive result.
