PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
ATHENS, Greece -June 27, 2013 - Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA (ASE: HTO, OTC MARKET: HLTOY) announces, according to paragraph 4.1.4.2 of the Athens Exchange Rulebook, that, the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on 26/06/2013 approved, pursuant to Article 16 of Codified Law 2190/1920, as currently in force, the purchase of own shares by the Company, up to one tenth (1/10) of the paid-up share capital i.e. up to 49,015,039 shares, within a period of 24 months from the date of the Shareholders' General Meeting resolution, at a maximum purchase price of €30 and a minimum purchase price of €2, for purposes permitted by the applicable legislation.

OTE shares are listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, and the London Stock Exchange (in the form of GDRs). Following their delisting from NYSE in September 2010, the company's ADRs trade in the US OTC market. OTE's American Depositary Receipts (ADR's) represent ½ ordinary share.
