Munich, July 13, 2010 - On the basis of the preliminary figures for the
first six months of 2010, the Executive Board of LUDWIG BECK AG (ISIN DE
0005199905) raised its profit forecast for the fiscal year 2010 and is now
expecting earnings before taxes on income (EBT) to exceed the amount of EUR
7.0m instead of EUR 6.0m as originally anticipated.
Thus, the LUDWIG BECK Group will be able to replicate the success of the
lapsed fiscal year and head towards a new record high. With a 43.5 % EBT
increase from EUR 4.4m to EUR 6.4m, the company had scored the best result
in its corporate history in the fiscal year 2009.
The company will publish the final figures for the 1st half of the year
2010 on July 21, 2010.
