Stuttgart, 15.06.2000 – Auf die anhaltende Schwäche im Markt für Unternehmens- softwarelösungen (ERP) reagiert AC-Service mit folgender Neuausrichtung: Das Angebot des Geschäftsbereichs Distribution Solutions wird auf die moderne Produktlinie FAMAC konzentriert, die vor allem für mittelständische Handels- unternehmen mit hochwertigen technischen Gütern um integrierte Electronic Business Funktionen erweitert wird. Die Wartung des Vorgängerprodukts AUDIAL wird weitergeführt. Parallel dazu werden AUDIAL Kunden leistungsfähige Umstiegs- pakete auf FAMAC angeboten. Die Konzentration der personellen Ressourcen auf die Standorte Wien, Düsseldorf und München führt in diesem Geschäftsbereich zu einer Freisetzung von etwa 40 Personen. Für die Neuausrichtung, insbesondere für die Personalmaßnahmen, rechnet AC-Service mit einmaligen Sonderaufwendungen von etwa 2,5 Mio. DEM, die zu Lasten des Ergebnisses des 2. Quartals 2000 zurückgestellt werden. Diese Sonderaufwendungen führen im Geschäftsbereich Distribution Solutions zur Personalkosteneinsparungen von etwa 4,0 Mio. DEM pro Jahr, sie werden voraussichtlich erstmals ab 2001 wirksam. Teilweise werden den Mitarbeitern Tätigkeiten in den wachsenden strategischen Geschäftsfeldern IT Outsourcing und Human, Resource Services angeboten. Diese haben im ersten Quartal 2000 im Umsatz um rund 40% gegenüber der vergleichbaren Vorjahresperiode zugelegt und machen bereits rund 2/3 des Gesamtgeschäfts von AC-Service aus. Das Geschäft mit SAP R/3 wird aus dem Geschäftsbereich IT Outsourcing erbracht, der sich in der Folge der am 15. Juni 2000 bekanntgegebenen Rahmenvereinbarung über einer Beteiligung an dem schweizerischen SAP Beratungshaus Process Partner AG in St. Gallen weiter verstärken wird. Stuttgart, 15.06.2000 – AC-Service is reacting to the consistent weakness in the market for enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions with the following re-orientation: The products offered by the Distribution Solutions business division will be concentrated in the up-to-date FAMAC product range which will be extended with integrated electronic business functions above all for the medium-sized companies trading in high-quality technical goods. Its predecessor AUDIAL will be continue to be maintained. Parallel to this, the AUDIAL customers will be offered high-performance packages for a conversion to FAMAC. In this business division, the concentration of the human resources at the locations in Vienna, Düsseldorf and Munich will make about 40 employees redundant. For the re-orientation, especially for the personnel measures, AC-Service is expecting non-recurrent special expenditures amounting to roughly DEM 2.5 million which will be set aside at the expense of the result of the second quarter of the year 2000. In the Distribution Solutions business division, these special expenditures will result in savings in personnel costs amounting to approx. DEM 4.0 million per year; it is expected that they will for the first time become effective as from 2001. Some of the staff will be offered jobs in the growing strategic business divisions of IT Outsourcing and Human Resource Services. In the first quarter of the year 2000, they have increased sales by roughly 40 % compared with the corresponding period last year, and they already account for approximately 2/3 of the total AC-Service business. Business with SAP R/3 is done by the IT Outsourcing business division which will become even stronger as a result of the framework agreement about an interest in the Swiss SAP consulting company Process Partner AG in CH-St. Gallen announced on June 15,2000.
