The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– AC-Service AG Starts Second Stock Buyback Program Stuttgart, 27 June 2003 The Board of Directors has decided to launch a second stock buyback program to begin on 27 June 2003. Up to 269 732 registered shares of AC-Service AG are to be acquired in a first tranche. With this decision, the Board of Directors will be making use of the authorization it was granted during the general meeting held on 27 May 2003. Shares will be purchased on the stock exchange. The current value per share paid (not including acquisition costs) may not be more than 10% above or below the average of the closing prices on the Deutsche Börse’s XETRA electronic trading platform on the three trading days prior to the actual purchase. All together the company can purchase a total of up to 10% of its share capital in the amount of EUR 16.2 million, which would be a buyback of up to 540 000 shares. Of this, the company has already repurchased 130 268 of its own shares in line with the first stock buyback program in 2002. This buyback is being made to enable AC-Service to operate flexibly and economically should it take over, acquire a holding in or merge with other companies. The positive business performance of the past two years demonstrated by this IT service provider, with its focus on its Outsourcing, Human Resource Services and SAP Consulting businesses, was reconfirmed by the earnings results it posted in first quarter 2003.
