Marenave Schiffahrts AG (Marenave or Company) today has received a revised
notification of major holdings according to sec. 21, 22 Securities Trading
Act (Wertpapierhandelsgesetz, WpHG) from Ernst Russ AG, Hamburg, by which
the Company was informed that Ernst Russ AG on 16 December holds in total
22.26 % of voting rights (333,960 shares), holding 21.56 % (323,500 shares)
directly and 0.70 % (10.460 shares) being attributed via a chain of
controlled undertakings. The Management Board explicitly points out that
Ernst Russ AG is not the already identified investor mentioned in the
context of a restructuring concept outside insolvency in the ad-hoc
announcement on 16 December 2016.
Moreover, the Company has received two notifications so far not meeting the
statutory requirements from Debeka Krankenversicherungsverein a. G. and
Debeka Lebensversicherungsverein a. G. (both Koblenz), by which the Company
was informed according to sec. 21 WpHG that their respective positions of
voting rights in the Company as of 16 December 2016 are now 0 %; their
latest notifications of major holdings received by the Company contained
respective positions in voting rights of 10 % each.
