Masterflex AG (ISIN DE0005492938) is continuing to record strong growth. In the first nine months of fiscal year 2003, revenue increased by 17.3% to EUR 49.5 million. The company remains highly satisfied with its qualitative development, with all key performance indicators improving significantly year-on-year. IAS earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 21.5% to EUR 7.2 million, while IAS consolidated earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased by 27.1% to EUR 5.3 million. IAS net profit again recorded the highest growth, up 28.1% to total EUR 2.3 million. Earnings per share increased by 26.8% to EUR 0.52 as a result. Business developments to date have confirmed that our full-year earnings forecasts are based on conservative assumptions. Due to the sustained positive development, the Board of Masterflex AG is now increasing its targets for 2003 as a whole to revenue growth of 13-15% (previously 11%) and EBIT growth of between 25% and 30% (previously: 21-29%).
