Masterflex AG completes the disposal of its subsidiary Angiokard GmbH & Co.
KG
Gelsenkirchen, 30 November 2009. Masterflex AG has completed the disposal
of its subsidiary Angiokard GmbH & Co. KG. The company will be
deconsolidated on 30 November 2009. Angiokard is a manufacturer of medical
kits and has been part of the Masterflex Group since 2000. In 2008,
Angiokard generated revenue of EUR14.9 million.
The additional inflow of liquidity will contribute to the reduction in
Masterflex's consolidated net debt, which will fall to EUR47.2 million. The
debt has thus already been reduced by EUR10.8 million or nearly 20 per cent
within one year.
Masterflex AG will systematically continue with the disposal of non-core
activities which do not offer synergies with its profitable core High-Tech
Hose Systems business. The Company is assuming a period of one to two years
for the sale of the mobility unit including the fuel cell business as well
as surface technology.
