Change in the Supervisory Board of Allgeier Computer AG
Bremen, Germany, 7 May 2001
Allgeier Computer AG herewith announces that the three members of the company’s
supervisory board hitherto holding office will resign from office. The chairman
of the supervisory board Dr. Hans-Jürgen Nölle as well as the supervisory board
member Mr. Uwe Hoffmeister will resign from their offices already as of 10 May
2001. The two supervisory board members regard their decision as a necessary
step to give the best possible consideration to the new shareholding relations
within the company and to actively support the company’s reorientation which has
already started. The supervisory board members still holding office for the
remaining short term intend to open the way to the new major shareholder for
repositioning the company as quickly as possible within the framework of the
planned new strategic orientation. For this purpose, two new supervisory board
members from within the environment of the major shareholder are to be
appointed.
With effect from 31 May 2001, Mrs. Petra Demnitz will also terminate her
activities as supervisory board member with due regard to the statutory period
of notice for a proper resignation.
Within the next few days, Allgeier Computer AG will fulfil its duty and propose
three new supervisory board members to the Inferior Court, Bremen, Germany, for
being appointed, two of which from within the circles of the new major
shareholder.
