MIM MONDO IGEL MEDIA AG has successfully held to its two-pillar strategy,
which consists of distributing family entertainment on the one hand and
co-producing animation on the other. We are well on track to improve all
principal economic indicators for the company compared with 2006.
We have increased our turnover slightly from the same time period 2006. We
have successfully completed our co-production directly with ZDF, 'Laura's
Star', and are very close to finalizing a second agreement. Our current
co-production, 'Barberbieni', has gotten off to a good start as well.
Further international package deals signed by the Mondo TV Group complement
MIM's co-production activities.
We are still on track with our financial planning for the year. These plans
include the signing of a further co-production agreement during the year,
which we hope to announce in December. We expect to finish the year with a
profit similar to the previous year.
Expenses and material costs were somewhat higher than in the same period
last year because of our involvement in the co-production. Personnel costs
and depreciation remained similar.
Our financial and asset position compared to the semi-annual figures
remained almost unchanged. The support of the main shareholder, Mondo TV
S.p.A. through a subordinated loan is in continuation.
MIM currently has five employees and one member of the Board of Management.
