Bremen, August 2, 2016 - MeVis Medical Solutions AG [ISIN: DE000A0LBFE4], a
leading provider of medical imaging software, raises its forecast for the
present fiscal year due to the positive performance of the Digital
Mammography segment:
- For the short fiscal year 2016 (1 January to 30 September), revenues of
EUR 11.5 million to EUR 12.0 million are now expected, corresponding to
a stable development of sales (previous forecast for calendar year
2016: decline to EUR 14.5 million to EUR 15.0 million).
- For the short fiscal year 2016 (1 January to 30 September) an increase
in the EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) is expected to EUR 3.5
million to EUR 4.0 million (previous forecast for calendar year 2016:
decline to EUR 2.5 million to EUR 3.0 million).
On June 7, 2016 the Annual General Meeting approved a change in the fiscal
year of MeVis Medical Solutions AG. In future the fiscal years of MeVis
Medical Solutions AG begin accordingly on 1 October and end on 30 September
of the following year. Up until then the fiscal year corresponded to the
calendar year. The period from 1 January 2016 until the 30 September 2016
represents a short fiscal year.
