The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– MLP appoints Dr. Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg as Chief Financial Officer Heidelberg, 6th December 2002 – The MLP Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg to the Executive Board as Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1st, 2003. Schroeder-Wildberg will be responsible for balancing, accounting, taxation and controlling. “Dr. Uwe Schroeder-Wildberg brings to MLP a wealth of broad based international financial experience and business expertise”, said Dr. Bernhard Termühlen, Chairman and CEO of MLP AG. After having completed his banking apprenticeship and studies, including a doctorate in business studies in Mannheim and Nuremberg, Schroeder-Wildberg (37) began his professional career in the Financial Division of Südzucker AG, based in Mannheim. From 1999 to 2000 he was Managing Director at Consors Discount- Broker AG in Nuremberg where he was Head of Finance before being promoted to the Board as Chief Financial Officer at the start of 2001. Following the takeover by the French Cortal company (BNP Paribas Group) he was appointed CFO of the newly founded Cortal Consors group in Paris in May 2002.
