Talanx Aktiengesellschaft has informed us in accordance with §§ 21 and 24
of WpHG that the holding of voting rights by HDI-Gerling Friedrich Wilhelm
Rückversicherung Aktiengesellschaft, Cologne, Germany in MLP AG, Wiesloch,
Germany exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% on 31st December 2012 and now
amounts to 9.89 % (corresponding to 10,671,969 voting rights). Of this
holding, 9.40% (10,144,433 voting rights) are attributable to it in
accordance with § 22, Section 2 of WpHG and 0.49 % (527,536 voting rights)
in accordance with § 22, Section 1, No. 1 of WpHG. In accordance with § 22
Section 2 of WpHG, 3% or more are attributable through HDI
Lebensversicherung AG.
