Müller – Die lila Logistik AG exceeded the annual profit planned for the total year in Q3 already. After the first nine months of this year, the group had achieved profits amounting to 921 kEUR according to IFRS (previous year: 729 kEUR) for this period. The company raised the net profit forecast for the fiscal year 2005 to approx. 1,250 kEUR with expected sales revenues of 70.5 million EUR. In Q3, The growth of the group slowed down from the previous year as expected to sales revenues of 17,244 kEUR (previous year: 18,381 kEUR). Cumulative sales during the first 9 months rose by 3.8 %. This purely organic growth is equivalent to sales revenues of now 53,147 kEUR (previous year: 51,195 kEUR). Development of the business segments In the 9-month period under review, the planning and consulting services combined in the “Logistics Design” business segment posted sales revenues of 2,721 kEUR (previous year: 2,940 kEUR) for the group. (Unconsolidated) earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose by 8.2 % to 659 kEUR (previous year: 609 kEUR). In Logistics Operating, the business segment providing operative logistics services, sales rose to 50,464 kEUR (previous year: 48,798 kEUR). EBIT in this segment amounted to 1,314 kEUR (previous year: 1,443 kEUR). Cash-flow and equity ratio As of 30 September 2005, the group had liquid funds of 1,093 kEUR (previous year: 892 kEUR). The cash-flow from operating activities amounted to 1,848 kEUR (previous year: 2,525 kEUR) in the 9-month period. Investment activities in the period under review generated a cash-outflow totalling 393 kEUR (previous year: 879 kEUR). The cash-flow from financing activities of minus 1,635 kEUR (previous year: 1,629 kEUR) at prior-year level reflects the good operative cash-flow for the repayment of debts. The equity ratio rose to 24 % (31/12/2004: 21.5 %) with an equity of 10,498 kEUR (31/12/2004: 9,572 kEUR). Despite the sales growth, the balance sheet total de-creased by 1.5 % to 43,802 kEUR (31/12/2004: 44,447 kEUR). Staff On the key date 30 September 2005, the group of Müller – Die lila Logistik AG had a total staff of 863 (previous year: 1,010). Prospect “After the positive development in the first three quarters and the good 9- month result, we expect a consistent development of the result in the fourth quarter,” says Michael Müller, CEO of Lila Logistik, commenting on the publication of the 9-month figures. Due to the development of business over the last nine months, the company expects a total sales volume of 70.5 million EUR at prior-year level for the 2005 fiscal year raising the profit forecast for the total year to approx. 1,250 kEUR.
