Müller – Die lila Logistik AG: First half-year group sales up 12.9 %

In comparison with the previous year, Müller – Die lila Logistik AG increased its sales volume by 13.9 % to a total of 20,127 k€ (previous year: 17,664 k€) in Q2 of this year. During the first half-year of 2006, the organic growth of the Lila Logistik Group was 12.9 % which is equivalent to a sales increase to 40,550 k€ (previous year: 35,903 k€). After the first six months of this year, the Lila Logistik Group posted half-year profits of 607 k€ (previous year: 619 k€). The equity ratio as at 30 June 2006 could again be improved and now is 25.4%. Development of the business segments The EBIT recorded by the planning and consulting services (Logistics Design) segment of the Lila Logistik Group was 196 k€ (previous year: 407 k€) with half-year sales totalling 1,265 k€ (previous year: 1,746 T€). In the Logistics Operating segment, the business segment providing operative logistics services, sales rose by 15.1 % to 39,320 k€ (previous year: 34,170 k€). The EBIT was 851 k€ (previous year: 777 k€). Cash Flow, investments and equity ratio At the half-year end, the Lila Logistik Group had liquid funds amounting to 1,574 k€ (30/06/2005: 237 k€). The cash inflow posted from the operating business was 445 k€ (previous year: 408 k€), cash outflows due to investment activities totalled 1,619 k€ (previous year: 367 k€). The cash flow generated by financing activities reflects the investment activities of the Lila Logistik Group and amounted to 1,657 k€ (previous year: -1,076 k€). In the course of the first six months, the Lila Logistik Group invested 1,821 k€ (previous year: 847 k€). At the end of the half-year, the equity had risen to 11,582 k€ (31/12/2005: 10,963 k€); the balance sheet total was 45,594 k€ (31/12/2005: 43,285 k€). Staff As of the key date 30 June 2006, the number of staff employed by the Lila Logistik Group was 93 up on the previous year thus totalling 947 persons (previous year: 854). Prospect “The business year 2006 is marked by investments in capacities forming the basis for further growth of the Lila Logistik group.
