Compensation Plan for Outside Directors The Company compensates its outside directors through the payment of cash fees and, from time to time, through the issuance of equity awards. The total accrued compensation cost for the three-month periods ended March 31, 2012 and 2011 in cash and equity awards amounts $151,025 and $129,135, respectively which were included in operating expenses in the accompanying condensed consolidated statement of income.
