MILLICOM TO ANNOUNCE SECOND QUARTER, 2006 RESULTS ON 24^th JULY

New York and Stockholm - July 7^th, 2006 - Millicom International Cellular S.A. (“Millicom“) (Nasdaq Stock Market: MICC, Stockholmsbörsen: MIC), one of the world's leading cellular operators in emerging markets, today announces that its results for the Second Quarter, 2006 will be released on Monday, 24^th July, 2006.

The company will host a conference call for the global financial community at 8.30 AM (ET) / 1.30 PM (UK) / 2.30 PM (CET). Registration for the conference call will be available nearer the time. The conference call will also be webcast in listen-only mode on Millicom’s website at www.millicom.com.
