CAPITAL MARKETS DAY 2009

New York and Stockholm, 27 October 2009 – Millicom International Cellular S.A. (“Millicom”) (Nasdaq Stock Market: MICC and Stockholmsbörsen: MIC) is today holding its 5th Annual Capital Markets Day in Miami.

The theme of the event is ‘Leaders in Innovation’. During the day, Millicom will highlight growth opportunities for the Group, with a particular emphasis on the development of VAS and its approach to innovation. The event will also demonstrate our management capability across the business and provide detailed operational insights.
