Petrobras receives notification of the Federal Court of Accounts’ decision about the changes to its Bylaws

Rio de Janeiro, December 6, 2023 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, following up with the release to the market of November 30, 2023, informs that it was notified today about a decision (decision 2518/2023) issued by the Plenary of the Federal Court of Accounts ("TCU"), which overturned the provisional measure adopted by the Reporting Minister in case TC 037.414/2023-2, regarding the Company’s Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting held to vote on certain amendments to its Bylaws ("Bylaws") on November 30, 2023 ("EGM").

Accordingly, the TCU overturned the order preventing Petrobras from registering the excerpt of the EGM minutes regarding the changes to the head of article 21 of the Bylaws with the Commercial Registry of the State of Rio de Janeiro ("JUCERJA") until the decision on the merits of the relevant TCU proceedings.

As a result, the Company will arrange for the minutes of the EGM to be registered in full with JUCERJA in due course.
