New Accounting Pronouncements New Accounting PronouncementsOn January 1, 2021, we adopted Financial Accounting Standards Board Accounting Standards Update 2019-12, “Simplifying the Accounting for Income Taxes,” which adds new guidance to simplify the accounting for income taxes, changes the accounting for certain income tax transactions, and makes other minor changes. There was no material impact to the financial statements upon adoption.
