| RECENT ACCOUNTING PRONOUNCEMENTS | RECENT ACCOUNTING PRONOUNCEMENTS In November 2023, the FASB issued Accounting Standards Update No. 2023-07 “Segment Reporting (Topic 280): Improvements to Reportable Segment Disclosures,” or ASU 2023-07. The amendments in ASU 2023-07 aim to improve reportable segment disclosure requirements, primarily through enhanced disclosures about significant segment expenses. ASU 2023-07 was adopted by the Company and is effective for the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2024, and subsequent interim periods. The adoption of ASU 2023-07 expanded certain disclosures but did not have a material impact on our consolidated financial statements. In December 2023, the FASB issued Accounting Standards Update No. 2023-09 “Income Taxes (Topic 740): Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures,” or ASU 2023-09. The amendments in ASU 2023-09 aim to enhance the transparency and decision usefulness of income tax disclosures. ASU 2023-09 is effective for the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2025. The adoption of ASU 2023-09 will expand our disclosures, but we do not expect the adoption of ASU 2023-09 to have a material impact on our consolidated financial statements. In November 2024, the FASB issued Accounting Standards Update No. 2024-03 “Income Statement—Reporting Comprehensive Income—Expense Disaggregation Disclosures (Subtopic 220-40)” or ASU 2024-03. The amendments in ASU 2024-03 require additional disclosure of the nature of expenses included in the income statement as well as disclosures about specific types of expenses included in the expense captions presented in the income statement. ASU 2024-03 is effective for the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2027 and interim period reporting beginning in 2028 on a prospective basis. The Company is currently evaluating the impact that the adoption of this standard will have on its consolidated financial statements. |
