17. Employee Benefit Plans
The Company’s employee benefit plans are described in Note 18 - Employee Benefit Plans of Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements included in The Hartford’s 2024 Form 10-K Annual Report. Net periodic cost (benefit) is recognized in insurance operating costs and other expenses in the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Operations.
Based on the funded status of the U.S. qualified defined benefit pension plan, the Company does not anticipate contributing to the plan in 2025.
