Nemetschek achieves record sales growth
of 35 per cent in first three quarters
Nemetschek on track to meet ambitious
1999 sales target
MUNICH – Nemetschek AG is entering the
year-end business season after recording
a 35 per cent increase in sales growth
from the same period last year. The Group
finished the period through September 30
with sales at DM 151 million (up from DM
112 million in 1998) and above-average
sales growth in the third quarter.
Companies acquired in 1999 are not
reflected in the figures. The Munichbased
company is thus bound to achieve its
annual targets for 1999. Taking the
companies acquired in 1999 into account,
Nemetschek AG will even exceed its DM 241
million sales target (excluding
acquisitions in 1999) for the current
business year. Since going public in
March 1999, the Group has either acquired
interests in or taken over four
companies. An additional company,
Nemetschek direct GmbH, with a clear
focus on the growing ecommerce market,
was founded in September. Nemetschek AG
is due to profit from the
disproportionate year-end business that
is typical of the IT industry. In
addition to this, Nemetschek’s latest
hardware and software solution, the
Nemetschek D-Board, has been greeted with
great acclaim. The D-Board is a digital
drawing board that lets users design,
draft and write with a pen. With this
product, the company has brought out a
tool that is revolutionary for the manner
in which computers are used. The company
aims to supply hardware and software that
is so easy to use that no instruction
manuals are required.
