Nemetschek earnings improve for the third year in succession: Up by approx. 20 % in 2005

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— • Sales increase to almost 99 million euros • Operating profit (EBITA) up to 13 million euros Munich, February 7, 2006 – The Nemetschek group, one of the world’s leading vendors of information technology for building design, construction and management, is continuing its positive sales and earnings trend. According to provisional figures, sales reached almost 99 million euros in fiscal 2005, slightly exceeding the previous year’s level (96.6 million euros). After three successful quarters in 2005, Q4 built on the positive development for the year as a whole. As in the previous year, sales in Q4 amounted to approx. 30 % of overall sales. International sales, in particular, contributed to the positive development in this year. The operating profit before goodwill amortization (EBITA) rose by 19.5 % to just over 13 million euros (previous year: 11.0 million euros). The EBITA margin, too, has increased compared with the previous year and now amounts to 13.3 %. The Nemetschek group thus managed to improve earnings for the third year in succession. This is also reflected in a solid shareholders’ equity structure. Liquid assets amount to 29 million euros as of December 31, 2005.
