Operating lease cost was $159 million and $210 million, and variable lease cost was $39 million and $39 million, for the years ended December 31, 2021 and 2020, respectively. Operating lease cost for the year ended December 31, 2020, included $30 million in ROU assets impairment charges. Cash paid for amounts included in the measurement of operating lease liabilities included in operating cash flows was $165 million and $165 million for the years ended December 31, 2021 and 2020, respectively. Operating lease ROU assets obtained in exchange for operating lease liabilities was $83 million and $138 million for the years ended December 31, 2021 and 2020, respectively. The weighted average remaining operating lease term was 5.5 years and 5.8 years and the weighted average operating lease discount rate was 3.0% and 3.2% as of December 31, 2021 and 2020, respectively.
