- Definition

The amount of cash collateral received from hedge counterparties in support of energy risk management activities for which there is an offsetting liability within current liabilities. These amounts are segregated into separate accounts that are not contractually restricted but, based on the entity's intention, are not available for the payment of the entity's general corporate obligations.
