11. Restructuring and Other Charges

During fiscal 2016, management approved two restructuring actions to streamline our business, eliminate costs and redirect resources to our highest return activities. These actions consisted of the May 2015 Plan and the March 2016 Plan, under which we reduced our global workforce by an aggregate of approximately 14%. These plans have been substantially completed as of July 29, 2016. Restructuring and other charges related to these plans consisted primarily of employee severance-related costs.
