(1)     Long-term debt is carried on the Consolidated Balance Sheets at historical cost net of debt discount and issuance costs.

The fair value of the Company's 1.00% Notes (as of December 31, 2019), 3.875% Notes (as of December 31, 2020) and 1.625% Notes (as of December 31, 2020 and December 31, 2019) were estimated based on market prices in active markets (Level 1). The fair value of other long-term debt was estimated based on discounting the remaining principal and interest payments using current market rates for similar debt (Level 2) at December 31, 2020 and December 31, 2019.
Fair Values Measured on a Non-Recurring Basis

Our non-financial assets, such as property, plant and equipment, goodwill and intangible assets are recorded at fair value upon a business combination and are remeasured at fair value only if an impairment charge is recognized. The Company uses unobservable inputs to the valuation methodologies that are significant to the fair value measurements, and the valuations require management's judgment due to the absence of quoted market prices. The Company determines the fair value of its held and used assets, goodwill and intangible assets using an income, cost or market approach as determined reasonable.

As of December 31, 2020 and December 31, 2019, there were no non-financial assets included in the Company's Consolidated Balance Sheet that were remeasured at fair value on a non-recurring basis.
