Goodwill	Goodwill Substantially all of our goodwill relates to the excess of cost over the fair value of the net assets acquired in the Columbia acquisition on November 1, 2000. Our goodwill balance was $1,485.9 million as of June 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021. All our goodwill has been allocated to our Gas Distribution Operations segment. For our annual goodwill impairment analysis performed as of May 1, 2022, we performed a qualitative "step 0" assessment and determined that it was more likely than not that the estimated fair value of the reporting unit substantially exceeded the related carrying value of our reporting unit. For this test, we assessed various assumptions, events and circumstances that would have affected the estimated fair value of the reporting units as compared to their baseline May 1, 2020 "step 1" fair value measurement. There have been no impairments to the carrying value of our goodwill during the periods presented.
