Recent Accounting Pronouncements Recently Adopted Accounting PronouncementsIn August 2023, the FASB issued ASU 2023-05, Business Combinations- Joint Venture Formations. This pronouncement codifies ASU 805-60 to provide guidance for the recognition and initial measurement of joint venture formations. This guidance requires that the initial assets contributed and liabilities assumed be recognized and measured at fair value, with additional disclosure requirements during the period a joint venture is formed. The pronouncement is effective for joint ventures formed on or after January 1, 2025. We are currently evaluating the impact of this pronouncement on the formation of future joint ventures.
