Income Taxes	INCOME TAXES The effective tax rate was 34.9% and 35.2% for the first quarter of fiscal 2017 and 2016, respectively. The effective tax rates for the first quarter of fiscal 2017 and fiscal 2016 were impacted by such items as the domestic production deduction and state income taxes. Unrecognized tax benefits were $309 million and $305 million at December 31, 2016, and October 1, 2016, respectively. We estimate that during the next twelve months it is reasonably possible that unrecognized tax benefits could decrease by as much as $8 million primarily due to expiration of statutes of limitations in various jurisdictions.
