Subsequent Events [Text Block]	Subsequent Event On October 1, 2015, the Company completed the acquisition of the life insurance portfolio of PGGM Levensverzekeringen, N.V. (“PGGM”), a Netherlands-based cooperative. Total assets and liabilities transferred were approximately $416.8 million and $402.3 million, respectively. Prior to the effective date of the acquisition, PGGM transferred approximately $350.6 million in assets to the Company. These assets and a corresponding liability are included on the condensed consolidated balance sheets in other assets and other liabilities. The transaction will be included in the Company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa traditional and non-traditional segments.
