The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– NEXUS group generates better results than last year Villingen-Schwenningen, November 28, 2002: In the third quarter 2002, NEXUS AG, specialist in the field of medical software solutions shows sales of Euro 2.9 million and a loss of Euro 393 (k). In the first nine months of the current fiscal year sales of Euro 10.0 million and a loss of Euro 471 (k) were achieved. Compared to 2001, the result has improved by Euro 715 (k) (2001: Euro -1.2 million) and by Euro 87 (k) in the current quarter (Q3 2001: EUR – 479 k). NEXUS reports EBITDA of Euro -24 (k) for the first three quarters after Euro – 1.2 million in the comparable prior-year period. Sales in the core business Healthcare Software rose significantly from Euro 1.2 million to Euro 1.9 million. Also with regard to the first three quarters sales in the core business climbed to Euro 6.7 million after Euro 6.0 million in the same period last year. Due to the restructuring process in the Healthcare Service division total sales in the current quarter went down from Euro 3.6 million in 2001 to Euro 2.9 million. In the first three quarters sales achieved Euro 10.0 million coming from Euro 12.6 million. Thanks to its international activities, the NEXUS group received three orders for radiooncology solutions in the USA.
